Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), Chicago River boat tour. For two years (2011-2013) I worked in the building across the river from the tower, the (relatively) tiny 30-story black building to the left of the bridge. A view of Chicago from just off shore in Lake Michigan. There´s the Willis Tower again. This subway car struck my fancy because it was a few weeks before actually going to Montana, Chicago. Millenium Park, Chicago. Smurfit Building, Chicago. Somewhere in Chicago.

Wasp on a flower. I lived in this 28-story apartment building at 180 North Jefferson St. on the northwest side of downtown Chicago for two years-2013. From the top of my apartment building, I took this snapshot as the Chicago Black Hawks Stanley Cup parade passed within a couple of blocks. View from the Chicago apartment building I lived in 2011-2013. This is from the rooftop looking south down Jefferson St. The Willis Tower towers over its neighbors. At right, the four buildings in a row are the Presidential Towers (apartments). Photo taken October 2012. I took this snapshot of my 27th-floor Chicago apartment shorting after moving in. The apartment faced west, away from downtown, so very few landmarks were visible except the United Center (Bulls, Black Hawks), the white building in the middle left window. This is an old one! In April 1999 I was working in Chicago for a week. I snapped this morning fog over downtown Chicago with a Kodak DC210+, my first usable digital camera.
