This demonstrates that a bird can sit on a live wire without being zapped due to electricity following the path of least resistance, which is through the wire. Red-shouldered Hawk, Florida. Another butterfly Fort Matanzas is a little fort built by the Spanish 1740-42 south of St. Augustine. Castillo de San Marcos is a big fort built 1672-95 in the heart of St. Augustine.
