I usually don't use flash, but it has been raining every evening for a month it seems, and that also seems to be the time when the hummingbirds come. It rained at least five different times today but partially cleared off near sunset and I got the first image with no flash. As dusk was falling, I got the second image with the flash.

Actually the biggest problem is it is hard to get flight shots because the birds use the little perches on the feeder. I have a second identical feeder that is broken but the base is still OK, so I'm going to remove the little perches and make them hover to feed. Diabolical.
