Now that we live just over an hour from Yellowstone, it's easy to do an overnight trip and see a lot. Yesterday we toured the waterfalls and the lake area, which are nice to look at but don't float my boat photographically. Today we saw the usual elk in Mammoth Hot Springs and a black bear at the east end of the Lamar Valley.
