I've been pondering a "favorite places" list for a while but had trouble whittling it down to a reasonable number. I tried for 10 but couldn't cut it below 12. The criteria I used is places I've been to that I want to visit again someday. For some it's probable that I never will return, such as #1 on the list, Palmer Station, Antarctica.
